The Georgetown Presbyterian Church is an historic church, located in the heart of Georgetown, DC, that seeks to love God and neighbor, to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to be a sanctuary in our city. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper who is able to work with a small staff and large pool of volunteers to maintain financial records, including payroll, our donor database, vendor transactions, and government obligations. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important for this position. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, a team player, and familiar with the unique financial situations of a church.
This position is part time – between 16 and 24 hours/week – averaging 20 hours/week on an annual basis, and reports to the Head of Staff.
