Rev. Dr. Camille Cook Murray, Head Pastor
Camille Cook Murray has been honored to serve as the senior pastor of Georgetown Presbyterian Church since 2010. In school, she earned a BA in Religious Studies (Honors) and Psychology at Vanderbilt University and then went straight on to Princeton for seminary. After earning her M.Div from PTS, Camille was awarded the Parish Pulpit Fellowship taking her to the United Kingdom for ministry and a Masters of Theology in Applied Theology at Oxford University. Camille has led congregations in Oxford, London, Johannesburg, and New York City. She serves on the board of directors of the Reformed Institute and is the youngest trustee of Princeton Theological Seminary. She is a distinguished speaker and has preached at St. Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, Day 1 Radio, Montreat Presbyterian Conference Center, and Harvard Memorial Church. Her writings can be found in the Journal for Preachers and the book Mentoring Windows, Through a Glass More Clearly. She belongs to the Moveable Feast preaching group, a national group of homileticians.
Camille is from Minnesota and hates writing bios about herself, but loves to serve the church with energy and creativity. You can find her around Georgetown with her two young children, Maisie and Finlay.
