The Kingdom Parables in Matthew show what happens when God’s plans break into our world. Using lost coins and mustard seeds, Jesus shows us that God’s reign is here and that the Kingdom of Heaven isn’t a far-off dream, but a reality for those who know what they’re looking for. The Kingdom of Heaven can’t be contained, and neither can its disciples. The parables of the Gospel of Matthew share a vision of a people Sent by God to proclaim the good news of God’s Kingdom.
